Hello sunshine! This is Kristina. I’m a 25 year old gal born and raised in Hawaii with a little stop over in Pittsburgh, PA for college. Recently married, I’m an eternal bargain-hunter and home-made crafter. When I was a child, I sold earrings in the shapes of vegetables that I cut out of cardboard and hand-painted. In middle school, I sewed my own outfits or dressed in vintage men’s surf-wear from the 70′s. Now as a working adult, I am trying to combine professional clothing with second-hand and found items. Starting a blog was just a way for me to catalog my thrifty finds and sewing/jewelry projects.
When not crafting, I’m doing marketing and pr for a wonderful children’s non-profit. When not doing either of those things, I can be found catching up on tv (food network, hgtv, and travel channels in particular), lazy-ing at the pool of my condo, and stuffing my face with all the delectable food and libation I can get my hands on…except chocolate, which I can’t stand. I also love design – interior and graphic, wedding planning, and fruit roll-ups (apricot please).
